Paisley has always been one of those prints I come back to. It has colour, movement, and that slightly nostalgic feel I love. It reminds me of beautiful old interiors, collected fabrics, and rooms where different patterns somehow sit together perfectly.
That was really the starting point for this new collection. I’ve always loved the interiors of Mark D. Sikes, particularly the way he mixes classic pattern with colour and a touch of vintage glamour. I wanted to bring a little of that feeling into something you could actually wear.
So, here it is. One paisley story in three colours, pink, turquoise and green, and three different dress shapes depending on how you like to wear it.
Gwyneth: The Long Kaftan
The Gwyneth Paisley Long Sleeve Maxi Dress is the dress I’d reach for when I want something with a little more drama, but still easy enough to wear for hours.
It has that lovely long kaftan shape, with sleeves, contrast trim around the neckline and a relaxed fall through the body. The paisley gets plenty of room to shine in this length, which I think gives Gwyneth that slightly glamorous feel without becoming too formal.
And, very importantly, there are pockets.
I can see this one at a long lunch, packed for a holiday, or worn to dinner with sandals and a few favourite bangles.
Cameron: The Long Sleeveless Slip Dress
The Cameron Paisley Sleeveless Maxi Dress is a much simpler take on the print.
I wanted this shape to feel light and uncomplicated. It’s sleeveless, long and relaxed through the body, which lets the paisley do most of the work. There’s something lovely about a statement print on such a clean shape. You don’t really need to add much else.
Cameron is probably the one I’d choose on a hot day. Flat sandals, maybe some earrings, and that’s about it.
Drew: The Short Kaftan
Then there’s the Drew Paisley Short Dress, which feels a little more playful.
It has the same kaftan spirit as Gwyneth, but in a shorter length. The sleeves and detailed neckline keep that vintage feel, while the shorter hem makes it such an easy option for warm days.
This is the one I’d throw on for lunch, weekends away, or those days when you want something colourful but don’t want to think too hard about your outfit.
Pink, Turquoise or Green?
Honestly, choosing the colour might be the hardest part.
- Pink has that soft, romantic vintage feel.
- Turquoise feels cooler and a little more resort-inspired.
- Green is fresh, vibrant and slightly unexpected.
Each colour changes the personality of the paisley completely, which is what I love about it. And because all three dress shapes come in the same colour story, you can really start with the silhouette that feels most like you and then choose the shade.
A Collection Made to Be Worn
I wanted this collection to have a little glamour to it, but I never wanted it to feel precious.
These are dresses to actually live in. Wear them with sandals. Add jewellery when you feel like dressing them up. Take them on holiday. Wear them to lunch. Pull them out again next summer.
That balance between beautiful and easy is always what I’m looking for.
And with this paisley collection, I think we found it.
