Ecommerce social media assistant
Martha’s Vineyard is a lifestyle fashion brand. We are a generational brand that is
growing our online space. The Ecommerce assistant will be working closely with
the business founder to facilitate this growth. This is initially a casual position approx. 15
hours a week but will grow with the right star performer.
About the role
• Manage product listings/merchandising across all websites Shopify ensuring
accurate descriptions, images and pricing
• Ensure accurate categorisation of products and tags for optimised navigation
and functionality
• Ensure all digital assets (banners, product images, descriptions) are updated in
line with planned promotions and campaigns.
• Monitor site performance, content accuracy and overall customer experience
• Assist in implementing SEO best practices to boost organic search visibility and
traffic
• Assist in implementing strategies to enhance website performance through CRO
• Liaise and coordinate with external suppliers for website optimisation,
functionality, speed and design
• Monitor ecommerce trends and competitor activity to identify growth
opportunities
• Troubleshoot and regularly check all sites for issues to maintain a smooth
customer experience
• Work closely with inventory and marketing team to ensure product availability
and alignment
• Reporting – analyse and report on key ecommerce metrics and campaign
performance, provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Email marketing with all aspects of shopify /klaviyo
• Develop social media strategies
• Social media content creation Instagram Facebook TikTok Pinterest
• Advise on Paid media strategies and audience targeting
• Create graphics in Canva
About You
• Minimum 2 years in eCommerce role preferably within fashion or beauty
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• Proficient in Shopify, klaviyo and meta-ads
• Copywriting skills will be highly regarded
• Understanding of SEO, CRO, UX/UI and A/B testing
• Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Keen eye for visual merchandising and product photography
• Commercially minded and strong awareness of competitor activity
• Passion for fashion and interest in fashion industry trends and customer
behaviour
